Arctic Sea Ice Heading For Normal!

Arctic Sea Ice Extent is well within one standard deviation for this day, and is now heading for the 1981-2010 mean.

2004 was the last time it was higher for this day.




  1. Ice in the Bering Strait and Bering Sea way below normal…

    …but will likely start catching up by the end of the year… Sea ice could reach ‘normal’ by January 1
